Wednesday Night Connections at Southminster Presbyterian Church

WEDNESDAY WALK-IN

     With Wednesday Connection taking a summer break and so many folks missing the weekly “get togethers,” we’re going to try something a little “different” on Wednesday evenings in June.  We’ll have a covered dish dinner on Wednesdays in the summer.  The back door will be unlocked at 5:30 and we will eat at 6.  Those attending will take care of the set-up and clean-up.  No programs, no Fellowship Committee responsibility, no reservations, no dish washing – just a time to share food and fellowship. 

     We ‘d like each person to contribute a dish to share and $1 or $2 to cover the cost of paper products and beverages.  We’ll eat whatever folks bring - whether it is a store-bought “something,” or a gourmet treat from home – if no one brings a dessert – guess what?  We won’t have dessert that night.  No need for reservations, just walk-in with your happy self and a dish to share!!  We’ll decide on June 30th whether to continue Wednesday Walk-in for the rest of the summer.  Come every Wednesday or once a month – whatever suits your schedule or your mood!  Call the church office (276-1749) if you have questions.

The church offers members and the community a meal, fellowship, and programs as well as children’s programs and choir each Wednesday September through mid-May Dinner is served continuously from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. at a cost of $4.  Programs begin at 6:20.  Contact the church office 804-276-1749 for menus and scheduled programs.

Wednesday Night Connections Program Information

Wednesday Night Connection is a  mid-week time for members, friends, and the community to come together for a convenient and low-cost meal, Christian fellowship and programs for both adults and children.
