Children's Sunday School at Southminster Presbyterian Church

SUNDAY SCHOOL in RELOCATED, REFRESHED CLASSROOMS

New classroom spaces and new curriculum resources await our Sunday School children and youth for this fall. We have re-arranged and re-located most of our Sunday School classrooms in the education wing and are now more Sunday School-friendly than ever!! We are especially excited about the re-location of our Youth Classes. Senior and Middle High Schoolers are now upstairs in the education wing in Rooms 103 and 104 respectively. Our new curriculum, e-Merge, will be enhanced by videos and computer modules. The classroom is very inviting as a place to hang out with God and friends and enjoy small group discussions.

Younger children start with a 13-week series on Heroes of the Bible, learning about Jonah, Daniel, Moses and other Old Testament figures along with stories of Jesus with Peter, John, the children, and others and the Apostle Paul. These stories help to build a foundation of Bible knowledge and values important to Christian faith formation and understanding God’s love for us. We look forward to seeing lots of children to make lots of fun during Sunday School!!!

Children:  Question for Parents: Where did you first hear the story of Noah’s Ark or Joseph and his coat?  Where will your children hear these stories?  Where will they learn the basics of the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian?  Sunday School provides the basic foundation for  discipleship through education, and Southminster has a committed group of teachers ready to provide this foundation.  The Sunday School hour is 9:45 – 10:45, with classrooms in the education wing. See you on Rally Day, September 12th.

Every Sunday from 9:45 A.M.- 10:45 A.M.
