Sunday Worship at Southminster Presbyterian Church
Worship is the central act of our faith and life.
Worship joyfully ascribes all praise and honor, glory and power to the one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through worship we offer ourselves to God and are equipped for service in the world.

OUTDOOR WORSHIP BEGINS JUNE 5th
Outdoor worship in the Chapel-in-the-Woods (behind the church) will begin on June 5th at 9 A.M. We hold these unique services, which last 30 to 40 minutes, each June through August. Everyone is invited to dress informally and bring a bench cover or lawn chair to sit on. If those “in charge of set-up” deem it “appropriate” or if it rains, there will be informal services in the sanctuary. Our 11 A.M. services in the sanctuary continue throughout the year.
OUTDOOR COMMUNION on JUNE 12th
We will celebrate the SACRAMENT of the LORD’S SUPPER during the 9 A. M service on Sunday, June 12th
OUTDOOR SERVICES BEGIN 1st Sunday in June
Each June through August, we hold these unique services under the canopy of trees. The service lasts about 40 minutes and everyone is invited to dress informally and bring a bench cover or lawn chair to sit on. Iif those preparing for the early service deem it appropriate, the service will be held in the sanctuary. 11 A.M. services in the sanctuary continue all year.
