Friends, 

I hope you all have not gone too stir crazy over the past few days! Today the sun is shining and the snow is melting so we are looking forward to worship and a great meal on Sunday for our annual congregational meeting. Bring a dish to share!

This week we are praying for: 
-Jim Davis, who is recovering from knee surgery
-Matt Brigg's father who is undergoing cancer treatment
-Dave Thomas, Dan Bice, and Ann Kearns who are all continuing to recover.
Feb 13th-19th
Be on the lookout for food sign ups this Sunday!

We are also always looking for a few good men (or women!) to stay over night with our guests. Contact Ken Brammer if you are available.

Friends, 

This Sunday is our Annual Meeting-- but as you know we are in for a big winter storm! If church is canceled we will postpone our meeting until the following week, Sunday, January 31st. Please be looking to our local TV stations for updates on cancellation.

Prayers continue for the Hudson/Hunt family who lost their home and family members in a house fire this past weekend.

Friends, 

Greetings from Louisville Seminary where I am doing some continuing education this week! I hope you enjoy worship led by Rev. Curtis Kearns this coming Sunday. Below you will find updated joys and concerns-- including some exciting news about the newest member of Southminster born this week!  

Caitlin Deyerle
This week we are praying for: 
- New Parents Mary Mackenzie and Andrew Swenck who welcomed a baby boy, Grier Frank Swenck, into the world on January 6th. He is a healthy 10 lbs 4oz, and 22 in long!  
-Dave Thomas who is recovering from a stroke at St Francis Hospital in the Sheltering Arms Rehab Unit
-Dan Bice who is recoverying from surgery
-Ann Kearns, who is in rehab recovering from a fall
-Dennis and Riki Stone, Bonnie Kowalski

Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, January 24th, 2016


Plan to stay after church for our annual all-church luncheon and meeting.
Don't forget to bring a side dish to share!
