Laity Sunday


Friends,

I hope you all are enjoying the cooler fall weather this week! Tonight at 6pm we will be having our Harvest Festival. I hope many of you will join us!

Don't forget that this Sunday is Laity Sunday.  This year's service is going to be extra creative and fun so you won't want to miss it. A big thank you to Bonnie Kowalski and Gail DeCosta who worked so hard on this year's service.

Harvest Festival


Friends,

I am starting to notice the beginning of some fall color in the trees! Fall is one of my favorite times of year-- not only because I love to see the leaves change but also because we have great fall activities at church. 

Last weekend we had such a great time packaging our 10K meals for Stop Hunger Now- thanks to all of you who participated! You can click here to see some of the photos on our church facebook page. 

Next week, on Wednesday evening, we will have our annual night of games, food and fellowship at our Harvest Festival. This is a great activity for kids and youth-- and all you have to bring is a can of food to donate to our food closet to share with families in need. Hope to see you there!

- The family and friends of Edna Schelter who passed away on Sunday, particularly for her husband of 63 years, Louis Schelter.

- The family and friends of Marjorie Quimby who passed away last week. 

- Earl Medicus as he continues to work through his post-surgery rehabilitation.

- Bev Lamberton as she was able to return home this week from the hospital. 

- Pat Cifelli and Eddie Schiller who are under hospice care.
