Christmas Eve

Friends,

Here we are just a few days before Christmas! I hope to see many of you for our two Christmas Eve worship services at 5pm and 8pm-- these are always a beautiful and joyous experience.

Prayers for many of you as you travel in the coming days! If you will be here on Christmas morning, I hope you will come and join us for a festive Christmas Day worship. We anticipate a small but cozy group-- we will sing lots of Christmas songs as well as reflect on the meaning of the season.

- Terry Hamlin and Dan Bice who are preparing for surgery next week. 

- Eniko's Aunt Elizabeth, Lynda Reed, and Lynne Harper who are recovering from surgery. 

- Ada Park who received good news from her recent round of tests. 

- Pat Cifelli and Eddie Schiller who are under hospice care.

- All those who are missing loved ones this time of year.

Southminster This Week

Fourth Sunday of Advent

Friends,

Thank you to all of you who organized, participated in, or attended our wonderful Service of Song and Light last Sunday evening-- particularly our sanctuary choir and musicans who made the night so beautiful!

We had a great turnout, with around 275 people in attendance including many family, friends and neighbors. What a great celebration of the season! If you missed it the full service is available online by clicking on the link below. 

Don't forget-- tonight we will gather for our Birthday Party for Jesus Spagetti Dinner starting at 6:00 pm. Don't have any plans for dinner tonight? Well, come on over! All you need to bring is a can of food to donate and a healthy appetite.

This Sunday is our big event of the season-- our Service of Song and Light on Sunday at 7 pm! I hope to see you all there. This is a wonderful chance to invite friends and neighbors to church!
