Christian Education

At Southminster we believe all people should have opportunities for spiritual growth. We have many opportunities for adults and children to continue growing in their faith. We invite you to explore our Sunday School classes.  Visitors and newcomers are always welcome.

Adult Classes

9:45 AM

The Christian Life class discusses how our Christian faith informs how we think, how we live and the choices we make.  Different topics are discussed based on participants interests.  The group meets in the conference room.  The class is open to any adult interested in participating.

The Contemporary Issues class meets at the church and via Zoom.  The group discusses current events and topics in the news and bring different viewpoints into the discussion.

Children's Classes

11:00 AM

Beginning March 5, 2023 Sunday School Children’s Program- “The Gathering” will be moved  from Sundays at 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Children will begin this program in the sanctuary and participate in the Worship Service with their families  and will be excused to attend a children’s education program prior to the beginning of the sermon.

The children will remain in the Sunday School Room designated as "The Gathering" and can be picked up at the end of the Worship Service.

What if you miss a Sunday?  Do not worry.  We plan to have lessons for the week sent to your child so that you can review at home.
