Church Closing Policy
Covid-19 Closure:
Session and Staff will review the Virginia Department of Health data for Chesterfield County each Wednesday. If the 7-day average of the percentage of positive PCR COVID tests reaches 10% or higher, then church services will move to online only. In person services will resume only when the Chesterfield percent positivity falls below 10% and remains there for two weeks.
Inclement Weather Cancellation:
If we feel it necessary to cancel services, the decision will be made on Sunday morning by 7:30 AM.
By 8:00 A.M. church closing notices will be submitted to the local Richmond CBS, NBC, and ABC stations, notification will be sent out via email to those on the church email list, and a notice will be posted on the church Facebook page. You may also call the church at (804) 276-1749 where the voicemail message will be updated with appropriate information.
We would like to have services if possible, but safety comes first.
