Thanksgiving Baskets

Every fall, Southminster participates in CCHASM's Thanksgiving Basket program, a specialized food drive aimed at providing our neighbors with a full Thanksgiving meal.  To learn more, visit www.cchasm.org/

Southminster does not distribute baskets.  To register for a basket, please contact CCHASM at 804-796-2749 or at www.cchasm.org.

Help Fill a CCHASM Thanksgiving Basket

Southminster is proud to support the CCHASM Thanksgiving program.  Our Thanksgiving basket drive is for 2025 is concluded and produced 48 complete baskets, which we were able to sent to CCHASM for distribution!  We'll see you next  year.

One Complete Thanksgiving Basket

40 oz. can yams/sweet potatoes (1)
13 oz. box of mashed potatoes (1)
14 oz. can cranberry sauce (1)
15 oz. cans of corn (2)
15 oz. cans green vegetables (2)

Packages/boxes of stuffing mix (2)
Cans/packets of gravy (2)
Box of hot cocoa (1)
Box of tea bags (1)
Bag or box of cookies (1)
$20 grocery card to Kroger, Food Lion, or Walmart (1)
